Dema has a vision for humanity shifting incentives to accumulating verifiable reputation!

An e-commerce marketplace is our strategy & our first mission to deliver real-world tangible value from everyday/weekly exchanges because shopper & seller reputations are non-controversial elements of e-commerce.

In this space, consider how shoppers can be rewarded for having a good reputation while shoppers with higher return rates are penalized with higher prices. Now consider how making it easy to record and use the value of an exchange in a reputation score can create instant portable trust that is owned by you, and not held captive by a marketplace.

This complex topic warrants its own deep dive. But for now, imagine how immutable verifiable transaction data can provide a reputation score, not just in e-commerce but across all interactions as a tool enabling you to make better decisions when you meet someone you don't know.

Immutable verifiable reputation can enable richer experiences sooner while reducing the risk of how each party might behave given their existing circumstances. After all, such privacy preserving records would give each of us the ability to interact & reducing the risk of what might occur with someone we'd never met before, on a marketplace or in a workplace.

For now, we're looking for a few good people to join Dema, primarily, additional engineering resources. We're still looking for another founding engineer (i.e.: an unpaid position, like other co-founders with primo equity 🥴)!
