We're on the hunt for a founding engineer; an ambitious & innovative crazy-fast builder to help two experienced and maniacally focused co-founders bring Dema to humanity!

Who you are?

• A coding wizard, always challenging what you think can be done and won't rest until you figure out how to do it better and faster, we want to work with you!

• You get why decentralization is key to Dema and you're incredibly excited about the power of decentralization.

• We love good vibes so you outstanding communication & interpersonal skills. Yeah, a must!

• Even if this is your first time doing it, it goes without the details you're really passionate about entrepreneurship & building new products. You just gotta tell us why and why now?

Your Superpowers

Your past experience leading & managing UI/UX & code writing ninjas means you can spot & hire (mostly outsourced/contracted out) resources. You're nimble! Ninjas are slow compared to you! You're constantly challenging yourself to create something that automates everything you've done before manually!

You're willing to commit to the below because you actually feel it makes you a superhero!

• Take the reins & lead the development of our e-commerce platform execution & delivery

• Work alongside the existing team and build out with your own to plan & execute on the product requirements

• Develop & implement technical solutions to make our app supremely incredible to our users

• Review code on the regular and keep things running like a well-oiled machine

• Keep up to date with the latest and greatest technologies to see how we can integrate them into Dema's platform; driven by needs, not because they're cool!

• Make as many friends as possible in the decentralization space! 🙋🏽‍♂️ 🙋🏻‍♀️ 🙋🏼‍♂️ 🙋🏿‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ Ok - not just friends; it's because you need to learn all the sharpest tools so we can decentralize every element of our implementation as efficiently as possible!

• You won't have to fundraise (nor seller or shopper pitching); still, you'll need to bring your best game when we meet with investors.

• Participate in team sessions to innovate on the feature set, business and operating models to make Dema unstoppably near zero cost to its users (Both shoppers and sellers).

Your Rockstar "Creds"

• Proven experience in software development 🧑🏽‍💻, preferably in e-commerce 🛍️ or in decentralization tech; but if you have BOTH, well... WOW! 🤯

• A strong understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized applications

• Familiarity with smart contract development & decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols

• Experience with front-end & back-end development languages such as React (Native/JS), Node.js and Flutter

• Preferably: Mad Solidity skills. Ok, you're good if you've programmed an 1155 contract and interacted with the EVM.

• You know the rest: Keen problem solver, analytical skills, work independently and manage a team like a boss, yada, yada, yada...
